As an avid anime fan myself, I've always dreamed of attending an anime convention as a vendor. The idea of being surrounded by fellow enthusiasts, immersed in all things anime, was simply too exciting to pass up and a great opportunity for our brand. So, when the opportunity arose for our company to vend at J1-Con, the largest Black-owned anime convention in the United States, I knew I had to be a part of it.
From the moment we stepped into the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, we were overwhelmed by the sheer energy and excitement of the convention. The atmosphere was electric, with cosplayers decked out in their most elaborate outfits, vendors showcasing their unique merchandise, and fans eagerly lining up for autographs and photo ops.
Our booth, which featured our company's line of anime-inspired apparel and accessories, quickly became a popular destination for convention-goers. We were thrilled to interact with so many passionate anime fans and share our love for the medium. We also had the opportunity to meet some incredible artists and creators, whose work left us truly inspired.
One of the highlights of our J1-Con experience was connecting with several potential brand ambassadors.
