5 Weeks Out
- Pre-plan your sales strategy. Are you doing a BOGO sale? 25% off Sitewide? Coupons for VIP members? Think of your sales in advance and set them set up on your sit early. You can always come back and revise it if you change your mind.
- Draft out emails to your subscribers. If you don’t have email subscribers, make this a priority. This will be your best form of communication during all of the other blasts of noise during this time. Get your customers used to this form of communication early so they know to keep an eye out for your promotions/news.
- Start sourcing your replenishment materials early. Start looking for your inventory materials at cheaper prices early. Prices will raise the closer it gets to the holidays, with the false pretense of a sale. The market price will rise, with a discount slapped over it to make it seem like its a deal. Do not fall for this tactic! Shop early!
